In 2018, Spain was the second most visited country in the world, raking in an impressive 82.2 million tourists. Of those 82.2 million, only 3.8 million visited the Basque Country to the north of Spain and let me tell you – those who skipped it were missing out! The city of Bilbao has been listed as one of the best places to live in all of Europe, one of the most livable cities in Spain, and an up-and-coming hotspot for digital nomads worldwide. It is also a national culinary capitol, a fine arts mecca, and home to a plethora of beautiful beaches. While Nicaragua is top destination for surfers, adrenaline junkies, and beach bums, its capitol city is a bit of a headscratcher for tourists looking for noteworthy things to do. After a tragic earthquake left the city all but demolished in 1977, main roads and the historic old city were never updated or reconstructed. As a result, Managua isn’t an easy place to navigate. However, it is one of my favorite places to club hop and at a dollar a beer in Nicaragua, you can’t really beat the price! Welcome to my guide of best places to drink in the capitol city – as told a former resident whose boyfriend happens to be a local. The true inside scoop!Read More
I pride myself in being a bit of a sushi snob. This might surprise you since I am a Denver native and Colorado isn’t exactly known for its proximity to the ocean nor for its maritime cuisine. However, that isn’t to say that the Mile High City doesn’t have its fair share of delicious Japanese cuisine and since I’ve seen the worst and the best of it, I’m here to ensure you eat all of the best and none of the worst! Blogging can be difficult and confusing. As much as blogging has always interested me, excited me, and infused passion in my love of travel, no on can argue that blogging isn’t a veritable mindbender at the beginning of the journey. Since 2014, I have tried (and failed) to start a successful blog no less than three times. I had good content. I was passionate about my niche. I had great photos from around the world and spent hours customizing my blog theme to perfection. So why did I throw in the towel on all three projects? Because I had no traffic. Almost nobody was reading the content I had spent hours upon hours creating. And I don’t know about you, but it’s not much fun to write content that no one reads. In the words of Jason Perelman,
“Content is king, but distribution is queen. And she wears the pants.”
I’ve been an international traveler from a young age, taking my first trip out of the country at the age of 13. I’ve always longed for far away places, exotic views, and emotive experiences that make my adrenaline rush. While international travel is a healthy passion, sometimes I forget that my nation is home to some of the world’s most beautiful destinations! Today I’m going to share with you seven reasons to visit one of my favorite American cities – San Fransisco!Read More

How to beat the heat and live in the sun in one of Nicaragua’s top tourist locations!
TRAVEL. Because money returns, but time doesn’t.
León is one of the last places I’ve ventured to Nicaragua, and I took my time getting here because I just wasn’t sure if it was worth the four hour drive by bus. I wish someone had told me what I am now telling you: IT’S HELLA WORTH IT! Yes, it is a little bit out of the way, but the experiences that I had in and around this hot, hot little city are hard to find in any other part of the country.Read More
